Outreach service

We are a primary phase specialist alternative provision located in kidderminster. Our outreach service provides support to the local mainstream schools, pupils and families. We provide a flexible and responsive service whose purpose is to prevent exclusions, strengthen inclusion and build mainstream schools capacity to meet pupils' needs. We are a system of support and intervention, not just a placement. 

Outreach support for pupils

  • Observe pupils in the class
  • Identify triggers and barriers
  • Complete SEMH assessments
  • Deliver strategies/ resources, short-term inventions 
  • Support transitions between classes or schools
  • Develop pastoral support plan

Outreach support for schools

Support for schools:

  • Coaching teachers and TAs
  • Behaviour consultations
  • Advice and adaptive strategies
  • Specialist training sessions
  • Modelling effective de-escalation.
