Unity Academy Shines at the Rivers Trust Box Car Rally

A team of our Year 5 and 6 pupils proudly represented Unity Academy at this year's Rivers Trust Box Car Rally, competing against 28 entries from across the Rivers Academy Trust's 16 schools.

The event challenged pupils to work together to design and create a themed entry, including a food entry, develop their own fancy dress costumes, and build a box cart ready for race day. Throughout the project, our pupils demonstrated outstanding creativity, problem-solving skills, and determination as they prepared for the competition.

On the day, the children embraced every challenge with enthusiasm and represented Unity Academy exceptionally well. Their hard work, teamwork, and resilience shone through as they competed against schools from across the Trust.

We are incredibly proud to announce that Unity Academy achieved an impressive 2nd place overall. This is a fantastic accomplishment and a testament to the dedication and effort shown by all involved.

Well done to all of our Year 5 and 6 pupils. Your teamwork, resilience, and positive attitude were exemplary, and you should be incredibly proud of everything you achieved. You were superb ambassadors for Unity Academy and demonstrated the very best of our school values.
